Positions: One Senior Expert and three Junior Experts to conduct a mapping on the impact of Covid-19 on the operating environment for civic actors

Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality is seeking to hire a team of four consultants (one Senior Expert and three Junior Experts) to conduct a mapping on the impact of Covid-19 on the operating environment for civic actors in Lebanon, Tunisia and Libya. The mapping will focus on identifying specific issues of concern related to restrictions on civic space – often exacerbated as a result of the pandemic – in the three countries and will provide an analysis of those institutions and stakeholders that should play a key role in protecting and broadening civic space to better understand where they stand with respect to these issues and why.

General conclusions will be drawn for the whole region as well, on the basis of the outputs collected in the three countries. The research will be developed using an adapted version of the method “Democratic Institutions for a Conducive Environment for civic space” (DICE) developed by the European Partnership for Democracy.
