First Edition – Capitalisation

This publication captures the highlights and impact of the first cycle of the Young Civil Society Leadership Programme (YCSLP), an initiative of the Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality II programme. It showcases the journey of 25 dynamic young leaders from the EU Southern Neighbourhood who were trained, mentored, and empowered to implement 24 innovative, community-based actions across the region. With a thematic focus on ethical AI for civic engagement and participatory governance, this report presents their learning path, transformative actions, and direct engagement with policymakers. A true testament to the potential of youth as changemakers, this document sets the stage for future cycles of the YCSLP.
