The Civil Society Facility for the Mediterranean (CSFM), an EU-funded program, conducted an online webinar on Social Economy in the MENA region. The main objective of the webinar was to identify challenges and opportunities on the sector in the region as well as to raise awareness of the public at large on key EU policies and programs on Social Economy in the MENA region. Last but not least, focus was put on how to build regional convergences among civil society and EU stakeholders around this topic.

The webinar was public and open to all civil society organizations, activists, journalists, academia, EU staff and any other stakeholder interested in SSE in the MENA region and in economic cooperation between the MENA countries and the European Union.
